feeding problems

fmanda Nov 18, 2007 05:12 PM

Mabey some of you can help me out here. My L. parahybana suddenly stopped feeding. She shouldn't be going into molt as she just molted a few weeks ago. She fed about a week after molting, but has since stopped. The only thing that I can think of is that she is upset because I recently moved her into a larger terrarium. The only thing that worries me is that she is not normally one to refuse a meal. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who respond.

I should also mention that she has been very active lately, climbing the glass ect. She also does not make use of her hiding place.

Sounds to me like she's just getting used to her new surroundings. May be a little stressed that her whole world has now changed. Give her a week or two to settle in, then try to feed her again. I'm sure it'll all work out.

I'm pretty cranked, my parahbayna finally ate today. She pounced on that cricket as soon as it hit the substrate.
