The store I bought all my scorpions from, gave me this 5 cc glass bottle with a plastic snap-on lid, labeled heteromeles (spelling). It had tissue inside. I didn't find it for several days. When I opened it and removed the top layer of tissue, there it was, an extremely tiny scorpion. He was alive and active after more than 36 hours in that air-tight bottle at 65 F. With his tail stretched out, he's 3/4 inch long, and almost transparent. I have him in a large (four pound, about one quart) yoghurt tub on slightly damp paper towel that is pressed to the bottom, with the lid snapped on, and I put it in one of my large tanks to regulate the temperature of the tub.

I think the only suitable prey are pin-head crickets. Is there any other prey animal I could buy for him?

Do scorpions care for their babies, or are the babies just on their own?

I know my questions are odd and of-topic. But then, I'm desperate. I do not want this tiny scorpion to die of thirst or of hunger, or of cold or heat.

Scorpion mothers do care for their younf to a point. They cruch crickets and fdeed them to the babies when they are on her back. After they disperse, they are on their own. YOu can buy pinheads or just crush small crickets, and they should be fine.
