Shedding Problems Need Help

Ok I got a giant whiteknee spider about 3 months ago and it shed for the first time tonight and he has built a little hole over the heating pad and he was down there sedding and when he came out there was a couple serious problems with his back legs. First off his back right one is missing and iv heard they grow back i just want to confirm it and his back left is double in length. I have had spiders for a while and this was the worst shed i have ever seen mabey there is somthing i could do or someone could give me good or bad news on what i should do but i am very worryed. Pleas help and thanks in advnce

They do grow back with the next molt so it should be fine. I'd question why you have a heat pad, and if you really do need one, it shoudl not be on the bottom of the tank. If your spider burrowed right on top of the heat pad then that could be why your having problems. it got too hot or dehydrated.
