Mealworm Turned Into Beetle

LKitsch Sep 06, 2008 01:23 PM

A couple of mealworms turned into beetles and are wandering around my tarantula's terrarium. Is that OK? Will she eventually eat them? Or should I get them out?

Your T may eat them, but if not I'd remove it after a couple days. You wouldn't want them in there if your T was molting.

Like the person before me said, you can slow mealies down sort of a hybernation by placing them in a fridge saves you a lot of money and grief that's what i do with majority of my spider food.
