2 beardies in same cage....breeding

svt-sinister Oct 12, 2003 09:29 PM

I have a male and female beardie in the same cage.. They are both 4 months old.. Is it possible for them to succesfully breed at 6 months. If not what is the youngest they can breed at. If its to young then i think im gonna sell my snow male and buy a female.

Yes, they can breed at 6mo..and it's too young. They shouldn't be allowed to breed until they are 18 mo.

Please separate those two beardies now! They should not breed at this young age. If you absolutely need to keep two beardies in one cage, they have to be two females. And you need to have a big cage.

Another option would be to buy/build a new cage for your male.
