how to grow a larvae

Sinraptor Apr 10, 2005 07:49 PM

Hey I live here in Washington state. There's this large hissing beetle that's orange and yellow if I remember correctly with black stripes and I see them rarely maybe once during the summer if I'm lucky. Recently I found this awesome grub it's large and I'm almost positive this is larvae cause I can see some of its features coming through. Since they are so rare I wanted to keep it as a pet until it becomes an adult. Currently it's in a jar with dirt how can i keep it alive for the duration of its larval stage?

Until the larva (grub) can be identified, it would be a better idea to put it back where it was found; especially due to its rarity. It's best not to keep any animal unless there is knowledge on how-to keep it alive in captivity.
