Hi,

I'm new to colubrid snake and I would like to learn more. In the past I 've focused more on retics and boas.

I'm looking for a good website or book that covers milksnakes, kingsnakes, and corns. Hopefully, which would include their wide arry of morphs. I checked out Amazon and it seems a lot of their books are not available.

Please let me know if you can recommend something...

well just type "Corn Snake Caresheet", "Milksnake caresheet" and there are tons of webpages......and if u want books, i would suggest u go to the library and find books on those snakes they usually have it....and if u have decided u wanna buy a corn snake....get the book by kathy love, its good

not sure about general "all colubrid" books, but for cornsnakes you really can't beat the Corn Snake Manual by bill and kathy Love!

I would recommend the Corn Snake manual from the Loves. Also, Keeping and Breeding Snakes. You'll have to go to a book store for that last one but it is a good book. It covers more than just colubrids but there is good amount of information on colubrids.
Don't waste your time and $$ with any of the Barrons books.
Just my opinion.
