paintballgod Apr 19, 2004 06:15 PM

i have a 8" viet pede and all it does is borrow under the soil and sit their. i poke him with a VERY long stick and he shoots out and runs around the cage and thats how i get him the eat, is this normal? I know he comes out at night because 12 pinhead crickets have suddenly disappeared overnight.

The Vietnamese centipede does love to hide lot. My Vietnamese usually only come out at night. If you want to see him you might want to get yourself night time light. I used a red light in my invertetrate room at night. I only get to see him about two or three times a week. You can give him normal size crickets. What setup are you useing for your Centipede?

Make sure to give him water bowl of some kind and also make sure you moist him couple times a week. If you have any more questions you can ask.
