I'm thinking about getting a Giant Millipede, so what do I need? Or should I go witha Red Legged?

I'd like to have one, but to be precise I live in the mountains of NC. SO, what do I need? And what should it all cost? I don't wanna spend over $50, if you will.

First, you need a 5-10 gallon tank with lid, 10g for two millipedes, 4" of soil as substrate, depending on how cold it gets where your keeping them, they may require a heating pad, but that's less likely. you will be feeding them decaying leaves, lettuce, veggies, fruits, and so on about every other day. Be prepared these guys can be pigs. Oh and cucumber is especially good, it provides water and they seem to love it. It is my millipedes' favorite. For the red leg, they look better but aren't as creepy to go up behind some one to scare them by using the impressive size of the giant blacks. I prefer the giant blacks, however, I may expand some day when I'm all done breeding reptiles.

Wow, thanks! So.... I mostly know what to get. It's summertime here in the mountains, and it can get hot. In my bedroom, I have AC, so I'll use it to cool things down, but not too much! XD Nearing wintertime, I -might- buy a heatingpad, but, sometimes we keep a fire in our wood cookstove, and it keeps us warm. And it stays just right for my room. Now about night...
we have a furnace that goes, and it keeps the rooms at a decent tempature (60-70 degrees) so, I -might- not have to get a heatingpad. But, next week me and my mom are going to go to the library, and I'll get books about them. I'm just going to get one, and even though I like the size of the Giants, I think I'll go with the Red-legged. I'm still not sure, but I know I'll be getting one soon. Thanks!
