Giant Millipede moulting.

How often do giant millipedes moult? Do they need anything besides a calcium supplement/varied diet for a good exoskeleton?

I see the supplements in pet stores, but that's over kill and not really a natural way for any pet. Just feed them a lot of good wholesome amount of green leafy vegetables and fruit that has calcium for your pet.

In the 20 years I tryed raising & breeding millipedes, i never seen one molt, but once i saw one out of the tunnel it made and didn't see it for nearly 3 months and it was on top of the soil freshly molted like a cricket! Ever see a cricket that is brightly colored and it gets dark several days later and the skin is back to it's colour? Ditto for pede's..
