Im a newbie and would like to get one of these but know absolutely nothing but what Ive been reading here..I would like to know how long they live. Do they live as long as female T's..Ive pretty much got the tank and substrate and all that going..Anyway thanks ahead

it's got everything you'll need to know on it. The care section is not species-specific, but I can assure you it does apply to giant blacks - right now I have about 10 of these under the conditions described and they are doing great.
