Care and Cage

I am planning on buying a millipede or two very soon. What size tank do I need for a millipede? 2 millipedes? Also, how often should the substrate be changed in the tank? Thanks.

the tank should be twice as long and wide as the longest (adult) millipede, generally speaking. Twice as long, definitely. Mine are in a 48" aquarium, and I have sizes from 1/2" to 8", they all do well in there.

Substrate doesn't need to be changed usually, unless it becomes waterlogged - but that's not too common. I've had it happen once, but if you keep the temperature up and don't feed too much salad at a time (the rotting leftovers were what waterlogged my tank), you should be fine. Millis don't really need cleaning out.
