I found a green moss at a local pet store called "Fluker's All Natural Moss". Does anyone know the difference between this and sphagnum moss, and whether or not this could be used as a substitute for my millipedes (AGB)?

Hi, I work at a pet store n we never recommend "Flukers" Moss we dont reccomend any prepackaged moss at our store. I would just use a substrate that is made of coconut fiber. One brand that i know of is Eco Earth i would stay away from the mosses. Some ppl on here might disagree but working at a pet store this is jut what i have learned its what i use in all my milli. tanks n reccommend to everyone!
yeah, i've noticed that the millies at my pet store eat the moss, and the problem is that they dont digest it. it goes in one end, and comes out the other the exact same.
