Giant Pill Millipedes asleep

rjones1259 Jan 01, 2006 05:37 PM

have six Pill Millipeds I have had them from June 2005 and have feed them on rotten Oak leaves and rotten Oak and Fungi.

In October I placed Green Oak leaves in the tank as well as the Old almost one year old leaves.

By early November all six had gone to sleep and have not come out now for two months I have checked often as far as I can tell they are alive but just curled up and will not come out.

The temp had droped a bit from over 20 deg C to about 18 so I placed them on a heater so the temp was 23-25 deg C but they are still asleep???

I live in the UK. they did eat a huge amount about 1lt of compressed leaves every week but now nothing.

Any ideas. Rob.
