HELP!!!! Leg lose!!!!

dinasaurbob May 06, 2006 06:24 PM

I've had my millipedes (giant afriacan black) for about half a year now. They were doing great compaired to when i first bought them They gained weight and alot of length but I noticed the smaller one is missing not just parts of his/her legs but whole legs near the back (I'm sure of this because the other side has legs). I see this one "grooming" quite often and wonder if this may be a sign of somekind of problem irritating him to the point of this behavoir. Being the back and not the front I know this is not mistaking the gonads for legs, and I don't see any excess of mites of any colour on my millipedes. Any help will be greatly appreaciated.

This happened with mine, too. Don't worry, they grow back.
