Few questions form the complete beginner

TennisPro May 23, 2006 07:41 AM

Hello i live in Canada and for the cage can you use one of the square plastic containers with the tops with holes? Some places sell them as bug containers? What do you think?

And for the giant black millipede, is it the easiest or coolest millipede to begin with? Or should i get another type first?

Also one more question, where can i buy them that ships to canada, do you need a permit? where can i buy them?

I think giant african millipedes are supposed to be the easiest to keep.

Mine or in a 2foot by 1foot glass tank. I don't know if it really matters as long as they have room. And make sure they aren't going to be able to push off the lid from the inside.

Sorry I can't comment on the Canada specific question.
