I had just recently introduced a new milli into my cage with my male unaware of sex. To my suprise, its a little girl and within only a little over a week i have lots of eggs burrowed in the ground that i can see through the glass. I have been trying to find out the incubation period and have found several different answers so im curious what you guys can tell me. Thanks a lot for any responses. Id be glad to keep everyone updated.

If they are anything like crickets hatching times mostly depends on temperature and humidity. If the temps are cool it will take longer to hatch the eggs than if they were warmer. Also, if the soil dries out from too much heat it might cause the eggs to dessicate (dry out) and therefore not survive, likewise soil that is too wet could drown/suffocate the eggs. I figure ambient temps around 80 F is decent and lightly damp soil is good then it's just a matter of waiting.

Here's what was stated in that post:
>>Incubation lasts five months; the babies are pure white and very small, measuring only two to three mm in length.

Yes but at what temperature? Do I just leave the eggs in the soil and they hatch out at room temperature? Or do I have to dig them up and cook them in an egg incubater?
