centipede care

can giant centipedes really be kept in gallon jars? what sould they be fed? how often should they be fed? are there any large begginer centipedes? can anyone give me some saftey tips for them? if their is a big begginer centipede can someone give me some info on its venom? is there any other care info i should know?

BanjoBert, if you read the previous posts, you should be able to get answers to most, if not all your questions.

There really is no beginner Scolopendra sp. that I'm aware of. If you unsure of your handling abilities, I'd suggest not to get Scolopendra. They can be very fast, un-predictable & the venom is said to be very painful if not lethal.
