Weird cricket activity...

I have a pet Scorpion and I feed crickets, and for the first time i've seen two crickets "do it". After that some little white thing came out and got stuck to one crickets butt. I thought it was her egg sac but then she turned around ripped it off and ate it. Does anyone know what that was??? =0)
