What is the life span of a cricket...from pin if they are keep warm we are breeding our own..Just started...Thanks

Approximately 8-10 weeks for Acheta domestica. The variation depends on the temperatures that they are being cultured.

diet can also affect their health and possibly shorten the lifespan. I've noticed crickets fed a diet high in calcium tend to have greater problems molting and often died because of it. I like to avoid using calcium based gutloads until a day or so before I expect to feed those crickets to something. Usually best to separate some of them out to another container 24-48 hours before needing to feed them off so they can be gutloaded without affecting the main colony.
