Brown Recluse?

MissMiniZoo Jul 10, 2004 02:41 AM

Ok, I found this in my house and now I'm a bit worried. I live in Central Indiana, northwest of Indianapolis. Could this be a recluse spider? It is dead in the pics because I put it in a container with another spider that I found and the other spider killed it. It's abdomen is a bit smaller since the other spider was eating at it. Please see my other post for another pic. I'm having a hard time getting a good clear pic.

Although the pic is bad from what I can tell about it it doesnt look like a recluse. If you still have the body look at the top of it and see if it has the violin marking the starts by the eyes and goes back to the begginging of the abdomen and count the eyes to see if it has six. Hope that helps.

All I can see are red x's, but here is a link with a little info about the recluse at the bottom.

I woke up with one under my pillow the other day.
