Hey guys, I own two Emperor scorpions, three Striped scorpions and a Skeleton Tarantula. I am thinking of getting a red widow but I am not sure where to get one. Anybody who knows of any where they sell good widows please let me know. Thanx.

You should check at the arachnopets.com classifieds section. There are frequently widows for sale there, including red widows. Go to:

Please be aware that venomous inverts such as scorpions and spiders/tarantulas and even bees are illegal in NYC. There are laws against having them.

UMMM, I'd think I would know that already, being the fact that I live here! that doesnt make it wrong for me to love them and take care of them! My scorpions are my babies and I love them with all my heart and more. alont with my tarantula. and my other pets (dog, turtle, hamster, 9 year old parakeet RIP) I love my pets and care for them all the way. Sorry if you feel I shouldnt have them since i am in NYC.

Ok, liltrip, here's what the admin @ arachnopets told me:

"Just took a look at her acct. Apparently, she never clicked on the link in the verification email that gets sent out when someone signs up for a new acct. Seeing as she used an AOL acct, it's quite possible that the email went right into the junk/bulk folder as AOL has a bad habit of doing that. Tell her to take a look and see if she has a verification email from AB and if so, to click on the link in it and everything should be fine. If she doesn't, then let me know and I will resend the verification email."

Yea, I never got a verification letter. I signed up a long time ago too. Thank you very much for helping me fix that account. Try to give them my screen name (Eva11235@aol.com) and if the letter doesnt come again im going to try to sign up again with a different screen name (like yahoo or something). Thanx again

I've contacted the admin with that information, and he has resent the verification email. He asks that you also check in your junk/ bulk folder, in case the letter got filed in there. If you do not receive the letter, they will try something else, but he says: "signing up for another account is not necessary. We will get this one working".

Hey. I havent recieved anything yet. I dont know if I even have a junk/bulk file. I check my AOL mail through AOL.COM because it is my sisters account and she needs it for school. I'm sorry for dragging you into this account mess. LOL I am going to try to get a chance to sign on to aol and check for junk files. I dont believe its there through because anytime I need a conformation (like for e-bay or insecthobbyist) I always recieve it with no problem. Thank you once again.
