I don't know anything about spiders. I just moved into a new house and have been seeing quite a few of these. Can anyone identify this species and if so, is it dangerous? thanks/jeff

No need to worry, that is a harmless wolf spider. They are predatory ground spiders that are actually beneficial since they eat many other bugs. It is not anything dangerous.
