Black Widow Babies?

ptc1800 Feb 21, 2006 12:45 AM

Hi,
I live in Southern CA and have problems with black widows in and around my house. This past summer a few black widows came inside the house and there is a lot of them outside. I haven't seen too many lately. However there are small, I assume baby spiders in my bathroom. Every night they come out and climb the walls, make webs up high mainly and hang on them. They are fairly dark in color and are shaped like black widows. Could they be black widow babies? I wish I could post a picture of them but I don't have a camera available. This is freaking me out because there is a lot of these spiders and I hate to see them when they get bigger.

Thank you for the picture. I wish I could take a picture of these things. They love to make webs up high. Few times they have just dropped down from the ceiling just content to hang on a single strand of web (oh so creepy).

I think I have house spiders, I really don't know. But I've seen some pictures of house spiders that are brown with gold spots on their belly. These baby spiders in the bathroom sort of look like that. Though a few have seemed like they could be black widows. Thanks again for the picture. I couldn't seem to find any pictures of baby black widows.
