Siler Spotted Skipper

It's moving alot, and it'll stop moving, and it moves it's head from the left to the right several times, then starts again.
I supply it with fresh leaves daily, but....
What's up with it?

it's likely getting ready to shed and move into its next instar. They molt rapidly thru the first 2 or 3. If it is ignoring the food (you are giving it the same plant all the time, right?) just let it be as its molting is a very fragile process and if bothered can have an incomplete shed, constriction or other problems which will often kill it.

Wow, you seem to know it all. It's been awhile since that happened, and it molted. And in fact, it's molting again right now. After this one, I'm pretty sure it'll be the one before he pupates one the one before. My Tiger Swallowtail larva, I noticed was actually a Spicebrush Swallowtail larva-- Those seem almost identical, only their eyespots are different.
So, thank you once again!
