xNeViNx Jun 20, 2004 07:46 PM

hi everyone, ive always bought silk worms to feed my leopard geckos adn bearded dragon. i just found out that the tree behind my house is s mulberry tree. so i thought id save some money and just rase them my self. i have a care sheet, but i donno how good it is. id like to know if any one has some good care seets for silk worms. i dont mean to make anyone mad by coming here and asking this. its like goin to a mouse forum and asking how you rase them to feed to a snake. thanks to any one who answers.

Hi Nevin,

There is a lot of silkie activity on the KS Cham forum,(http://forums.kingsnake.com/forum.php?page=1&catid=44) probably a better place to post this question. Most folks here prefer to keep their moths and butterflies alive I have a cham that I feed silkies (Bombyx) to and it was a difficult line for me to cross since I raise giant silk moths (Saturnid) as a hobby (diff family from the silkies).

Where did you get your care sheet? online?
for now check out this site:
