Hello, I found this moth on the side of my house.........msg and pic

I am very uninformed about insects, but found this guy interesting. I looked at all the moth pictures I could find and I could not find any resembleing this one. Does anyone know what he is? I live in northwest Oregon if that helps. He was there in the daytime and I took the picture around 9:00 am. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Lovely! that is a Cinnbar Moth. I have only seen pix since we don't have them here in the Northeast. Do a google image search for more photos and info. Apparently they have been used as a successful bio-control on tansy-ragwort in the PNW
