Hi,
You can easily post them in the KS Gallery. Click on Insects Hobbyist Gallery above to get started Use their HELP page if you get stuck. Once it is uploaded you can post it in the body of a message by scrolling all the way down and you will see "Select Image from Photo Gallery" click on the arrow and choose your photo.
You can also setup a free account at webshots.com, however KS photos are immediately available, whereas webshots may take several hours to a day to show.
***Another way is to go to the gallery (or whereever you have it)
***bring up your photo
***right click on it
***choose "properties
*** “hi-lite” address/URL
***right click, copy
***go to message body back here
***type what I put in bold except without the quotes:
""
but the first way is a lot easier! If you want to post more than one photo in the same message you need to do it the second way.
In the meantime you can try a description and where you live (a big help). I have been known to i.d. without seeing a pic - it's a blast when I get them right! LOL!

Thanks lele! I have a pic of the moth posted under butterfly & moth. There was a cocoon on my siding for a couple months or so and I have been checking on it every day. When I got home from work the moth was out but i have no idea what kind it is.I live in central New Jersey.
Thanks again Maddew.

these guys are so sweet! It is a Large Tolype Tolype velleda. I was leaving the P.O. the other day and had just had a conversation about moths. I almost stepped on it on the sidewalk! I have linked you to a very cool site. read the profile from his book on this moth. Btw, if you are into moths his book is a "must have."
Enjoy!
