I opened my door to find a strange looking creature on the post of our car porch. Can anyone let me know what kind of insects these are. I believe their moths, larger than I've ever seen. Thanks. The pictures are on the URL Link.

Type of sphinx moth from the looks of it....they do get pretty big. I've seen some larger than hummingbirds. Definitely male and female pair.
