Butterfly or Moth?

hello! anybody knows whether this is a butterfly or a moth??

in the Saturniidae family (wild silk moths, which include the luna, polyphemus, cecropia, promethea, etc.) Where do you live? it looks to be a Rothschildia but they are very limited in the states and are only in the tip of TX and a small sliver of AZ. Could also be in the Hyalophora genus which include the cecropia and columbia. Your location will be helpful. Nice find
