Hi and welcome to the forum, or returning if you've been here before
Nice photos, were the atlas moth mating? All the Saturniids that I rear mate "face to face" and I know some sphinx do it "butt to butt"
Your glasswing (don't know it's name) is a neat shot. If you crop it a bit show off the wings it would make an even better photo.
I have a friend in Seattle who likes to visit gardens, butterfly gardens and other plant/insect/nature places. I winder if she has been there - what is it called?
From your username - do you have herps? I'm guessing snake(s) - anything else? I have a handful.
cheers!

clicked on the wrong photo (that was my chameleon), meant to post this one of a male luna greeting the spring

It's called Butterfly gardens near Butchart gardens near Brentwood Bay in victoria off of West saanich Road. Also those moths are atlas moths mating. And by name yes I do have reptiles at the moment 3 leopard geckos and 6 eggs. I also have a Panther chameleon. No snakes at the moment but they are favourite kind of reptiles. I'm new to the insect forums but not the reptiles and thank you for the warm welcome
Hi, I'm new. I want to upload a photo of a coccoon so I can get some help with it. Can you tell me how to upload a photo? I went to post a message but I don't see anywhere I can click to designate a file to send.
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,
Welcome! Definitely ant to see your cocoon and see if I can help you out. Here is the link to the Gallery "how to"
www.pethobbyist.com/articles/PhotoGalleryFAQ.html
and here is my standard reply:
a couple ways to upload:
...if you already have one in the KS gallery you should be able to post it in the body of a message.
In the message edit window scroll all the way down and you will see "Select Image from Photo Gallery" click on the arrow and choose your photo.
***Another way is to go to the gallery
***bring up your photo
***right click on it
***choose "properties
*** “hi-lite” address/URL
***right click, copy
***go to message body back here
***type what I put in bold except without the quotes:
""
but the first way is a lot easier! If you want to post more than one photo in the same message you need to do it the second way.
let me know if you need more help
