My female chinese that I had for quite awhile died a couple weeks ago. I am keeping her in the freezer but would like to preserve her some other way. Any suggestions?

Not sure, but I would like to know too...

This is my other hobby besides rearing insects. The specimens that die, I turn into jewelry or paper weights and stuff. Here is a locust borer that I did. It was my first one.

That is awesome! Can you explain how it's done?
They are suspended in a casting resin. I must admit, it's alot of work, and I've had many attempts turn out really [bleep]ty. After I cast them, I cut them out into whatever shap I want, then I have to sand them with 4 different grains of sandpaper. Then to get them 100% clear, I have to take them down on my buffer and buff them untill all scratches are gone. Here is a necklace I made of my first and probably favorite mantis I owned. She was a Chinese mantis and she's the one that got me into the hobby. Again, she died naturally as all of my casted insect have. Its not the best pic, but you get the idea.

That is awesome! Love how you put the head in there.
