Somebody explain this!

Ok I posted this on the other forum as well but I am very curious as to the reason. My chinese female molted last night. I thought she had two more molts to adult. Well this time she molted to adult. She looks fine other than her size! She is very small. She is not the size she should be for a chinese mantis. She is a chinese becuase I raised her from an ooth laid by another chinese I had. What would cause them to not achieve full size? I know some are bigger than others but this is a lot smaller than the norm for this species.

I've known it was a female since at least L4. She has filled out some but is still on the small side for her species. Doing fine other than that.
