Dead leaf eye problem

Idznak Jan 19, 2005 09:41 PM

Hey,

When i first bought my female dead leaf mantis from orin, she was L3 and had this white spot on its right eye, and ever since, it has always had the same white spot on its right eye. Its subadult now and the spot is a little smaller but i just dont have any idea on how it got there. Can u guys give me any info on how this occurs? Other than the white spot, she's perfect with no other problems. My Sub-adult male is doing fine and is in perfect shape with no problems.

Ive never heard of white spots, but we have discussed the dark spots many times, and never really been able to figure out what the cause is. Mantids dont seem to be bothered by it, so its nothing to worry about.

Thanks,
Andrew
