Hey Rick, my egg case is hatching! waaaay cool!
But I do have a question. Do they hatch all at once, or do they come out a little at a time. So far I have only two that have hatched. Is this normal for Chinese mantis? Thanks

It was like the first three days was slow. One a day came out, then this morning it was like BOOM! they came pouring out of the egg case hatching en mass! It was a totally amazing sight to see. Don't know what Im going to do with all these baby mantis, but I'll figure something out, lol.

Is this one I sent you? If so I am glad to hear they hatched.

Rick, yes, its the one you sent me. I had a question for you. When you had extra egg cases, how did you store them over the winter? Thanks

I just kept them outside. But I moved all of them indoors a few months ago. I put them in a container and put them in the fridge. It will start warming up here soon so I will put what I have left outside so they can hatch at the regular time.
