mantid id/care tips

i caught mantis in a forest near my home in southern ontario about 2 days ago now. i am not familiar with the local mantid species here, it is about 5" long and all green in colour. it also has a white spot ringed with black on the inside of each arm. also what should i be feeding it? and how does it need to be housed?? any help is geatly appreciated
