I was doing some research on mantids and it seems they only live for less then a year. I have always wanted to get into the invertebrate part of the hobby and wanted to see if there is any "long term" mantids. Thanks!

ghost mantids r usually one of the longest lived mantids, but i also found out any mantis can be long live also, i had a european mantis live almost 2 years!, and my violing mantis i have now is about 2 years old right now and shows no sign of ddying!

I had an asian deadleaf make it 2.5 years.
