New Guinea Mouting problem

Lorna_New May 27, 2007 03:56 AM

One of my New Guinea's is moulting, but instead of being up on the tank wall, he's on te floor on his back and hasn't moved for more tan a day othr than to wiggle his legs and move his little mouthparts a bit.
What should I do??????

You may need to increase: humidity & temperatures. If the humidity is low, you can very lightly spray the phasmid with tepid water 1-3X per day. Consider closing off some of caging to increase humidity--you should get a humidity gauge for accuracy. Air circulation is important as well, since some phasmids are prone to fungal/bacterial infections.

Goodluck
