ok so i found a 4 in brown mantis on vacation and brought it home. 4 days later it makes a brown thing the size of an acorn. My guess is that my mantis is a girl, and she just laid an egg case. is there anything special to do with it? and should i take it out of the cage so she does not eat the young when they hatch?? will it hurt the egg case if i pull it off? she stuck it to the top of the lid. and since the lid slides i cant just take it off and put a different lid on. any advise would be great. thanks.
