Hisser Nymphs

bm1957 Jan 23, 2005 06:59 PM

This may sound like a silly question, and may have already been answered. But here goes anyway. From the time they are born, till what point are they no longer considered nymphs? Or maybe its how many times they have molted? Were do they cross the line from being nymphs to adults?

they are nymphs until their final molt, then are considered adults. It usually takes 6 molts (sometimes 7) to reach adulthood. It can take several months to over a year, depends on their diet, humidity, temparture, etc. They do not reproduce until adulthood.

Good luck with your hissers.
