How many hissers can I put in a 40 gal tub? Is 50 males and 225 females too much or is there still room for more?

Doesn't sound like to many. Of course once you start getting tons of babies then you'll need to pull some out. Man I just got a bunch of tiger hissers (very cool) and other neat stuff. I really need to update the site in the coming weeks.

So how many types of hissers are there? do they maintain "their look" or only during a certain phase? Do they cross breed (hybrid hissers)?
BTW, the roaches I got from you are all fantastic, thanks.

There are lots of hiisers. You have normals, giants which are the same species (ps,yours look like a cross of normals and giants), tigers, dwarfs, v-horns, princess, all black. I'm not sure if these could interbreed or not, but I wouldn't doubt it. The tigers are very cool looking and the dwarfs are also neat. Hopefully I have some pics of them on the site very soon.
