lobster roach sexing

hello, i got some lobsters as feeders and wanted to start a colony . does anyone know how to tell male from female? thanks matt

I'm not absolutely sure about (Nauphoeta cinerea), but the males may have an extra segment in the abdomen and their abdomen is pointier than the females. Females have a broader abdomen and not as many segments. There should be a distinct morphological difference at the last segment on each sex of the adult roaches.
