I wasn't sure which forum to put this question in, so I also posted it in insects too. Sorry. Anyway.... I think it was some time last week I went into my garage and there were millions of little gnat type insects pushing to get out of the windows. They are smaller than a flea, and can fly. I've never seen so many of them before. Like three inches deep at the bottom of the windows piled on top of each other, and the others were crawling to the top of the windows. I sprayed what I could, but had to get out because they were getting all over me. Then this week I found bizillions of them only on the East side of my house crawling up the side to the roof. (The house is about 100 feet from the garage). Many were making their way into the house. Some of them had their tails linked together. I live in the desert. It's dry and hot. Does anyone know what these are, and what's going on? I've lived around here since 1954 and have never seen such a thing. It's freakin me out.
