Chili Flies

This guy parked in my back yard in San Diego while I was watering last week. I've never captured a dragon fly in my yard, as it's pretty dry around here, and I don't live near any bodies of water that I know of. Since he kept returning to this twig, I sidled on over with my camera and waited for him to come back.
