please help me identify

Tifels Sep 03, 2007 04:40 PM

Hello all,

I am new to this forum and have only recently taken an interest in insects. I found this guy outside my home in the Richomond VA area and I was wondering if someone could identify him for me. I have never seen anything like this. I do not know if he is a fly or not but his wings looked like larger versions of fly wings to me.

Thanks in advance,

Tif

I have other pictures of him if they are needed to identify.
