Breeding Whites

angelawina May 28, 2003 03:42 AM

I am going to try to breed my male whites tree frog. I have done research for almost three years on it, but I just have a few questions.
First of all, after the tadpoles hatch, do I need to transfer them to a HUGE aquarium? Like, 50 gals? Or could I put them in a more shallow aquarium, like a turtle aquarium? I don't have a lot of room to do this, so I was thinking if I have to get another aquarium, I would get a 30gal. turtle aquarium, and set it up in another part of the house.
How warm should the water be and do I need to set it up with a filter and all that, like a fish set up?
I appreciate any help! Thanks!

50 gallon would be better, keep the water temp 24-26c. u dont have to use a filter, it will just help keep the water clean. go to my site on http://luke_zecevic.tripod.com/frogsofaustralia check under green tree frog (litoria caerulea)
