Wellness Cat Food

Solmab Jun 18, 2003 04:23 PM

I had been feeding my cat Innova (dry and canned) and for whatever reason, I don't think she is thriving on it. As a kitten, I fed Iams and she ate every last bit. She doesn't seem crazy about the Innova and barely eats half. So I am now considering switching to dry and canned Wellness. Does anyone have experience with this food, positive or negative. Thank you.

I have never tried it and can't think of anyone that I know who has. If she liked Iams, perhaps you should give it back to her? I am sure someone will come along who as tried it

Innova and Wellness are both very good foods and my cats like both. But remember with both of them, your cat will eat less because there are less fillers in them. Look on the package for the recommended amount to feed. They will eat less to get filled.

I have 6 cats -- all of them like Wellness dry food. I've experienced mixed results with Wellness canned. Most pet stores will give you samples to try.

my 11 year old loves the dry stuff. we just shifted to it in June, and he thinks it tastes great. In fact, he eats it out of my hand as if it were a treat. I feed my 11 year old and the two kittens I have the wet food (chicken, chicken/herring, and turkey) and they gobble it up. He used to throw up a lot (at least 1-2 times a week) and he hasn't thrown up in well over two months . And it has made his fur nice and shiny. You should try it. Most stores will either have samples or let you return the bag if your cat doesn't like it.
