Royal Canin

Is Royal Canin widely accepted as a high-qualify cat food? If it matters, I am referring specifically to the Sensible Choice Chicken Meal & Rice Formula (adult).

Thanks in advance!

You got me on this one. I have never even heard of it, much less know if it is good or not. Anyone else out there want to answer this one???

I recently heard about this one. I believe it is a premium catfood and I've heard that it s good. You might want to go to the Cat Fancy message boards and ask in the nutrition forum- I believe that is where I read it.-- Jennifer

I believe it is considered a "high quality" cat food, although I have never tried it myself. Check the ingredient label and see if MEAT (chicken, turket etc) and not chicken meal or meat by-products is listed first.

I feed my kittens and 11year old an assortment of Royal canin products, but not the food you mentioned. They make quality brand food, expensive like the other premium foods. Mine love the Special, Persian(Burmese), Mature, and Kitten. They have these trial bags (I think one pound) that have these $3 coupons for future purchases. Not sold at every pet store, but can be found at smaller ones and some large chains.
