I weighed my leos this morning on a friends digi and was pretty surprised at the results.
My 2 biggest males weighed 80 and 70 grams, and my 2 adult females were 70 and 60.
I knew they were solid, but now I can prove it

my question is, everyone recommends 40 grams minimum (better off at 50) for breeding females. Well the 4 month old female he bought this morning weighs around 38 grams and she's not even close to the size where she could safely produce eggs. I guess thats why they say 40 grams and 10 months
so on to the question, is this average or has she been pounding back too many mealies??

she's no bigger than any other leos I've raised over the past couple of years, I've just never had access to a digital scale to see how heavy they actually are at such a young age.
