I'm getting a kitten in six weeks and I want to feed her something that is natural, inexpensive, and good for her. Has anyone had good results with Felidae? I'm open to other suggestions as long as the food is all natural.
Thanks in advance.

If you are wanting an all natural diet, have you considered RAW? It's not as convenient as store bought food, and takes some study to understand and should not be done without doing research first, but from what I've heard and read about it, it's highly beneficial for the animal. It's also not the cheapest way to go unless you can find a good source for the meat.
Now, there are also ways you can make your own food that's natural, before Myrtle got pregnant, I was in the process of switching her to RAW and I had her on a diet of cooked rice (1/2 cup) one can of mackeral, and 1/4 can of beans. I would also add other things to the food at different times, such as yogurt or raw leafy vegetables, and this was only fed once a day to suppliment the dry food. The mixture would last a week. I chose those ingredients after analyzing several bags of catfood and reading everything I could on feline nutritional requirements, and cat's on these diets often need a dietary suppliment to give them minerals they need that aren't found in people food.
But as with RAW, feeding your cat natural requires study and a good understanding of what you're doing to make sure that your animal is getting all of the nutrients it needs, and nothing that it shouldn't have.
I'm not reccomending either of those choices, I feed my kitties wet/dry food from the store, but those are a couple more options - if you didn't already know about them
As far as natural pet foods go, I've heard Jaime reccommend Nutro Natural Choice. Maybe she can tell you something about that.
Congradulations on your new kitty!
Good luck!

I am pretty sure Heidi feeds her cats a part Felidae diet. She posts under the name Spootabsia. You may want to ask her advice.

Thanks for the info.

Destany is correct! The BEST food for a cat is RAW, but barring that (you DO have to do a lot of research to get it right) CANNED is the next best. If you start a kitten on canned you are starting it out the best you are able. Best Canned food is Wellness or Natures Variety.
Cats are meat eaters and dry food (even Felidae and it is VERY good) has grains in it. Cats cannot utilize grain so it goes to waste and just makes them fat. Another reason for feeding canned is cats dont alway drink enough water and they NEED water for kidneys and to prevent FUS!
IF you must do dry, then felidae is as good as you are going to get. My Kotton is VERY finicky but she WILL eat Felidae! If only she would eat canned!

She is one Gorgeous cat!!!
And thanks for the info. I'm not going to do the raw diet. I was thinking of giving both dry and moist. I'm going to do more research with the brands you have listed and talk to my vet.

Just a warning your vet will probably recommend Science Diet. They all do for some reason.

As I have never heard of Felidae, don't have much to add to this one. My crowd eat canned and dry and a variety of dry due to their fariety of ages
1-17 years of age. We have science for the older cats, Iams hairball for one who refuses to eat anything else, and friskies and purina kitten chow to round out the menu. The canned is Friskies and they love it. Get it once a day in the morning and all 18 chow down happily. And they are a healthy group of 18 furballs too

Geez...leave it to you to count them
. Actually that is an old picture and I only had 10 then. The other 4 belong to friends. Some of the kitties in that picture are at the Bridge now. Will have to do an updated version one of these days
